The Gold Coast City Choir has members of all ages and performs a wide repertoire of choral music from the great classics to pops.

   We present at least three major choral performances each year – Easter, mid-year and Christmas.

   Perform regularly at civic, corporate, charitable and religious functions

   Attend free workshops throughout the year for vocal and professional development – including sight- reading, vocal technique, voice production and caring for your voice.

There is no formal audition process – enthusiasm and attitude is what counts! Anyone who is interested in community choral singing is invited  to come to a rehearsal to listen, meet the Director of Music and have a sing before applying to join.

Rehearsals are held each Tuesday evening, 7:00 – 10:00 pm at the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra Centre on Community Drive, Ashmore. Members say that every rehearsal is a first rate singing lesson !

Our members are our greatest asset. A tremendous feeling of goodwill exists in the choir and members enjoy a number of social activities throughout the year.

The choir is working on becoming the premier choir in the region by enthusiastic dedication to create beautiful choral music.
